The Writing Process
The writing process can be tedious ,but with proper planning it can be made fun. The bulk of work when writing is done in the planning phase. It is being said that 70% of the time spent writing is actually spent planning. This is rather interesting, because before doing this course I often wondered why even if writing topics within my business subjects seemed to fall within the interests of students they always seemed not to know what to write. This course highlighted that lack of proper planning can prevent students from writing effective pieces. I am not currently an English teacher,but on my return to the classroom, information on the writing process and how to effectively use it to engage students in writing would be an asset. I am excited to see results from use of this and excited to get my students writing again. Also,this course would assist me at home with my children.
